We Stayed at the Sunrise for 8 days in
March 2010 and think it is one of the best hotels we have found in 14
years of travelling in SE Asia. The rooms are spotless, large,
comfortable and have a great view of the beach. The staff are ALL very
nice and most helpful. Breakfasts couldn\'t have been better. In all
one of our favorite hotels.
We had the friday night buffet and it was also just excellent.
The hotel is across a busy street from the beach however the hotel have
a crossing guard on duty at all times and crossing the street was never
a problem. On the beach the hotel have staff stationed and have
lounging chairs and shade (gazebos?) and also have drinks and food
available seaside. All in all a great stay.

I found the location, quality, staff and hotels facilities excellent during my 8 day stay. The breakfasts were fantastic and the staff very polite and helpful. Tried the seafood buffet night and was rapt with selection and value. The pool and the poolstaff was top notch. The rooms were neat, clean and the sea view was sensational. After hiring a motor bike and looking around, I would recomend the Sunrise as the best hotel to stay in in Nha Trang.

I stayed at the Sunrise in Dec 2004 with my boyfriend. We were a little apprehensive before our arrival as the resort hotel had just opened.
As promised, we had a sea-facing room, only that we couldn't swim or suntan at the beach, which was less than 5 minutes away. Reason being that the tide was too high during that season.
Apart from that, we had a wonderful experience at The Sunrise...and fond memories too.
Upon arrival, we were duly welcomed by a member of staff, who offered us our welcome drinks whilst we waited for Reception to clear administrative matters. The dear lady kept us company till our room was ready, in a short 5 minutes or thereabouts.
We were really impressed by the room!!! It was spacious...warm, comfortable...and much more!!! I personally was impressed by the toiletries that they offered, having been around different parts of the world. And my boyfriend especially loved that great towels that they offered. The beds,... there were a good sized double bed and a single bed,...were ultra comfortable...and we had the best sleep in them, compared to our other travels.
Staff-wise...we have no complaints at all, but compliments...each morning, we were greeted by first names (by those who made an effort to know us)... or a very polite "Mam/Sir" by those who were not not so fluent with the English language....at breakfast. And the buffet breakfast, that came complimentary with the room, was delectable!!!...We had a voucher for dinner and we chose to try out the Chinese restaurant. The service, again, was impeccable!!
I have to admit a number of the staff there could work on their English more, but when one couldn't
understand us, he/she promptly sought help from a colleague who did, hence cutting down any frustration for us.
We enjoyed our stay at The Sunrise tremendously...and hold it as one of our yardsticks of measurement towards Good Hotels in the world.
