We spent 3 weeks travelling through Vietnam, and found Bamboo Village to be the most beautiful and relaxing resort that we stayed at. The staff could not do enough for us, the (luxury) huts were fantastic value and spotless, the food was fantastic, and the gardens were perfectly manicured and cared for.
The beach was not as idyllic as we had been led to believe from the guidebooks, but it was great to be on a private beach with no hassle from people selling things. The resort was extremely quiet when we were there (early October) so we felt as if everything there had been laid on especially for us. If you ever find yourself in Vietnam, and are heading south, definitely pop into Bamboo Village. There are countless other resorts on the same strip, but none can touch Bamboo Village for excellent value for money and delicious luxury all in one package. I cannot recommend this resort highly enough..
