The duxton room was tired and in need of refurbisment. The food was wonderful.

We found the Duxton Hotel just great. Excellent rooms, service, food and the staff very helpful. Very good position and just around the corner is Anthony's Beauty Salon where manicures and pedicures are available for less then US$2.00 ea!! Would definitely return to the Duxton if we returned to Saigon.

Very clean and comfortable hotel, right next to the Saigon river. The room was large with good air conditioning, tea/coffee and good mini bar. The food was brilliant, good choice of breakfast, served very professionally by very friendly staff. A great location to base a holiday Chu Chi tunnels are the highlight but everyone must try the tricycle ride around the city, 5 dollars an hour is great value. The pool is very small and in the shade from 2pm, it only has 3 loungers but no one else seemed to use the area. A very nice stay and would recommend.
