An excellent value *** hotel in the best part of
HCMC. USD$70 per night, compared with USD $120 per night for Bong Sen
across the street....and no pool at Bong Sen!! I have no hesitation in
highly recommending Huong Sen...better value than many of the **** hotels, e.g.

We stayed at Huong Sen Hotel Saigon for
7 days. This hotel is located in the middle of Saigon and is easy to
access everywhere. Plenty of restaurants nearby and shopping malls too.
When we arrived at the said hotel, we told the man at the front desk if
he could give us a room other than rooms at the 5th floor since we are
aware that said floor is a noisy floor because of the restaurant on the
6th floor. He advised us that there's no available room at that moment
except the room at the 5th floor. But he promised that he will transfer
us on the next day to other floor, if there will be vacancy. And true to
his words, on the next day, we were transferred to the 4th floor, which
was more ok than the first one. I must say that the Hotel staff was kind
and considerate to relocate us to a more comfortable room. Moreover, the
front desk woman was very helpful and can speak english very well.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel because of the efficient and
attentive staff. Keep up the good works guys!
I will surely recommend this hotel to my friends and if ever, i have a
chance to go back, i will definitely stay again at this hotel.

The hotel was well situated on the main shopping street and within
easy walking distance of most attractions. We were able to change our
money at the hotel as competitively as outside. Pool and roof top
terrace were appreciated. Internet access was available at a charge.

In any organization, the staff are the most important. I therefore have to say that the staff at Huong Sen were excellent. The hotel itself was excellent value for money and was very clean. The room was very spacious with very good air conditioning. Absolutely brilliant.

This is by no means a luxurious hotel, but it is reasonably priced, superbly located (on Dong Khoi, the main shopping/restaurant/bar strip), clean and comfortable. The rooms we saw were decorated in what struck me as an unintentionally retro 70's style, but again, they were clean and comfortable and a decent size (as was the washroom). The nearby Bong Sen is in a similar price category but offers a higher standard of accommodation, so I would recommend trying that one first (it was fully booked when we turned up).
