To ensure your safety and peace of
mind, the Dragon's pearl is fully equipped with all the
necessary equipment to meet today's safety standards.
Onboard there are 80 life vests, 40 life buoys and 4
lifeboats. In case of fire, the boat is equipped with 4
firefighter water hoses and 14 public fire
extinguishers. We are also equipped with a GPS system,
VHF radio, and an automated alarm system with 27
speakers throughout.
The Dragon Pearl
is this 32m long, 8m wide masterpiece is constructed of the
finest quality materials by the hands of skilled craftsman.
Designed after the Chinese sailing Junks of old, there are
three traditional sails; a 13m main sail, a 14m front sail,
and a 7m cross sail. As you enter the Dragon's Pearl you
come to the reception counter on the first of the two lower
decks, which have a total of 18 twin/double fully equipped
cabins.
Each 9m2,
air-conditioned cabin boasts its own bathroom with hot water
shower, a closet and night table. In each cabin you enjoy
the elegant design of the fine woodwork that is evident
throughout. For your convenience, there are also 3 shared
bathrooms onboard including on the dining deck. On the 3rd
floor you'll find the elegant dining room and bar,
exquisitely designed with handcrafted Teak and Oak.
On top is the spacious, 150m2 tanning deck with 15 comfortable lounge chairs for
you to laze away in. 8m above the water, you'll
have a panoramic view of the limestone karsts towering
from the emerald waters of Halong Bay.
Three-Day Cruise Package
Day 1: Hanoi - Halong bay -
Dragon's Pearl (L, D) Leave Hanoi for
Halong Bay. The 3 hour 30 minute drive wends its way through
the Red River Delta with its verdant farmland dotted with
small villages.
Arrive at 12:00 noon. Transfer to the Dragon's Pearl Junk to
enjoy a welcome drink and fresh seafood lunch as the vessel
departs for a 4 hour cruise into the bay to see the
incredible karst formations such as Lion, Tea Pot, Toad and
more. Cruise further on past the Tam Cung cave's gate, Dau
Nguoi (Human Head) islet and then visit the Sung Sot
(Amazing) cave.
There is ample time for swimming and sunbathing. Then the
vessel slips into a quiet inlet for a great sunset dinner
and relaxation under starry skies.
Day 2: Explore Halong Bay (B,
L, D) There are three options to choose from
today, from relaxing onboard to trekking or sea kayaking
adventures:
Option 1 (Relax)
After breakfast, take a small boat to visit Luon cave, Cua
Van floating village and Me Cung (Maze) cave. Take lunch on
the beach or in Trong cave. Time is yours for swimming and
relaxing on the beach.
Cruise back to the Dragon's Pearl for dinner and another
night onboard.
Option 2 (Adventure - Trekking
Cat Ba National Park)
Transfer to the National Park by small boat. Trek 3 hours
through the rain forest and have lunch at a local fishing
village on the way up to lookout point for a fantastic view.
Enjoy a savory sunset dinner and relax under the starlit sky
before retiring to the comfort of your cabin.
Option 3 (Adventure - Sea
Kayak discovery)
A trained instructor conducts a basic paddling lesson first
on how to paddle safely and comfortably. Then it's off with
the guide and fellow paddlers to explore the mystical bay.
There is lots of swimming, visiting beaches or lagoon caves
(depending on tidal conditions).
After a days paddling, return to the Dragon's Pearl for a
savory sunset dinner and relax under the starlit sky before
retiring to the comfort of your cabin.
Day 3: Ha Long - Hanoi (B)
Early risers can enjoy an energizing swim in the cool, calm,
quiet of the overnight anchorage. A Buffet brunch is served
from 07:30 to 09:30. Cruising continues through the bay,
along the way seeing more of the fascinating formations like
Trong (Drum) cave, Yen Ngua (Saddle), Ham Rong (Dragon's
Jaw), Am (Tea Pot), Mat Qui (Monster's face) and islets.
Check out procedures take place from 10:30 to 11:30. Arrive
back in harbor by 12 noon and disembark for the private
coach trip back to Hanoi.
Arrive in Hanoi around 16:00. End of the trip.

Group tour: To join with other people
on available daily tours. These tours are fixed itinerary
and departure time. It is possible to join in even your group
of only 1 or 2 people. Customer do not to find other people
to form the group. It is our company duty to gather the
tourists for each tour. For these tours, you have to share
the coach, boat and tour guide with other tourists who come
from different nationalities. The number of people of this
group is normally less than 16 persons.
Private tour: To do the tour privately. The tour is not fixed, it is
possible to be customized for your group. All service is
reserved for your group only. You do not have to share the
bus, boat, tour guide with other tourists. One exception, if
you stay at the boat in Ha Long bay - it is like the hotel in
Ha Long - you still have to share the boat with other people. |
