8:00 AM Pick up from your Hotel. Full day cyclo ride to visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum. Enjoy the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho's final resting-place. Just next door is Ho Chi Minh's house on stilts. Lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda, founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049 the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi. Lunch at restaurant nearby.
PM: After lunch proceed to visit the Literature Temple and Quoc Tu Giam - Vietnam's first university constructed in 1070, its gardens and well-preserved architecture offers a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam's past. We will then take you past Hoan Kiem Lake, see the peaceful waters, and visit Ngoc Son temple. For the end of the tour journey cyclo around the trading area in Hanoi Old Quarter. Free for shopping.

Hoa Lu, 100 km south of Hanoi, was the capital city of Vietnam under the Dinh Dynasty between AD 968 and AD 980. Some of the sanctuaries and tombs have survived the countless years and can still be visited today. Apart from the historical aspects, the area is also one of astounding natural beauty with limestone peaks whose splendor is often said to surpass that of Ha Long Bay. It is true that this area is often referred to as the Ha Long Bay on land. The tour includes being rowed along the Boi River, which makes for a truly unforgettable experience, passing between towering limestone peaks.

AM: 8:00 leave Hanoi by coach to Hoa Lu (2.5 hrs). Visit the historic capital of Viet Nam and the famous ancient temples of Le and The Dinh Dynasties. Bus transfer or cycle for an hour on picturesque quiet roads through villages, rice fields, rivers and rocky outcrops to Tam Coc (12km) for lunch.

PM: Boat trip to visit Tam Coc to see the beauty of the karts formations as you pass along their base and row into one of the many caves carved through the limestone. Drive back to Hanoi. Drop off at your Hotel around 6:00 PM

Duong Lam Ancient Village has a history of about 1,200 years with many houses dating back up to 400 years. One special thing about the village is that most of the buildings here are made of laterite and mud, two materials that are abundant in the area. Laterite is used on house walls, gates, wells, temple walls, and so forth. The mud is taken from ponds. Apart from its historical and tourism values, Duong Lam Ancient Village is an important place for scientists to study resident communities in ancient agriculture.

8:00 AM Pick up from your hotel and travel west of Hanoi to visit Duong Lam village ( 60km far from Hanoi ), a purely agricultural village of the Northern Red River delta where still preserve many hundred-year-old houses. It will be your unique experience as you walk along tiny ancient alleys; visit Mong Phu temple in Mong Phu hamlet - the only hamlet whose original village entrance gate remains intact, dedicated to national heroes. Have some talks with the locals in their ancient houses by visiting the ancient houses of Mr. Lam, Mr. Ha and Mr. Huyen. Enjoy your special lunch with Vietnamese foods in an ancient house.

After resting, we continue driving to visit Mia Pagoda (other hamlet in Duong Lam village), is built in 15th century and admire 287 statues of all sizes, among with are famous sculpture such as the statue of Buddha in the Himalayas and the statues of the Eight Vajra Deities. Then visit Ngo Quyen temple and Phung Hung temple, places dedicated to two national heroes Ngo Quyen and Phung Hung. Driving back to Hanoi. Drop off at your Hotel at about 5:00 PM

Van Long is a legendary land and an amazingly beautiful landscape for tourism, while at the same time, the largest mangrove nature reserve in northern delta, Ninh Binh province. Van Long reserve is on area of 2,643 hectares in seven communes of Gia Vien district. In the Van Long forest, there are 457 species of plants, eight of which are listed in Vietnam’s Red Book. There are 39 species of animals, including nine precious species such as languor, Tibetan bear, chamois, Loris, and red-face monkey. There are nine reptiles listed in Vietnam’s Red Book such as grass-snake, varan, slow and harmless boas, and gecko.

8:00 AM Pick up from your Hotel. Leave to Van Long then have a boat trip around natural caves and grottoes, admire the wonderful landscape of the tourist area. 12:00 PM Picnic Lunch.

12:30 PM Take about 3 hour road ride to the ferry-boarding a boat and cruising along Hoang Long river (that means the Dragon river), watching beautiful shaped limestone formation, rice paddies to visit the floating village Kenh Ga (Chicken Canals-see lonely page). Enjoy the life and activities on the river that you can image like water puppet show in the theatre. Visit Hot mineral-Spring (Natural stream).
Transfer back to Hanoi. Drop off at your Hotel at about 5:00 PM

Day 1: Ha Noi - Hoa Lu - Phat Diem - Ninh Binh (L, D)
Depart from your Hotel at 8:00 AM. 2hrs drive to Hoa Lu - The Ancient Capital. Visit to the two remaining temples of Dinh King & Le King. Lunch in a restaurant and continue drive to Phat Diem - the stone church. This cathedral is an architectural complex that combines the traditional pagoda architecture of Vietnam and the Gothic style of Christian architecture. Have dinner and overnight in Ninh Binh town - The Long Hotel (3 Stars).

Day 2: Ninh Binh - Tam Coc - Hanoi (B, L)
After breakfast, biking or driving towards Tam Coc. Explore country life of Vietnam by passing through villages and rice fields. Visit Bich Dong Pagoda - one of the famous pagoda in Ninh Binh Province. After lunch, sit back and relax whilst a local villager rows a small boat through 3 caves with rice fields and mountain surrounded. 
Transfer back to Hanoi via Ninh Binh town. Arrive at your hotel in Hanoi at 5:30 PM.
