Within only 2 days, this journey will bring you a brief understanding of Sapa and its tribal peoples while enjoying its fascinating scenery, paying visit to Sapa town and 3 tribal villages of Black H’mong and Zay
peoples which is well-known for its breathtaking scenery. You will spend 2 nights on the train in 4 bed cabin with air-conditioning and 1 night at hotel in Sapa.
Night 1: Hanoi - Lao Cai by Train
Pick up at your proposed Hotel at 20:00 then transfer to Hanoi Railway Station for boarding to Lao Cai by Express Train at 21:10.
Overnight in the A/C soft sleeper wooden Cabin. ( 4 people/cabin or 2 people/cabin on request ).
Day 1: Lao Cai - Sapa - Cat Cat - Sin Chai Village ( 5 hours trekking, 12 km, 2 villages) (B, L, D)
6:00 AM - Arrive to Lao Cai train station. Welcome by your local guide and driver.
Take a drive of 40km to your hotel in Sapa town. Have breakfast and relax. Trek around 14 km to visit 2 villages of the Black H'mong (Cat Cat and Sin Chai).
Picnic lunch at a waterfall and this is a chance to see the hydroelectric power station established by the French. Transfer from Cat Cat back to Sapa roughly 4:00
PM. Check in Hotel. Dinner at restaurant. In the evening, you’re free to do as you wish. You can explore the town of Sapa at night.
Night 2:Overnight at hotel in Sapa town.
Day 2: Sapa - Giang Ta Chai - Sapa - Lao Cai - Hanoi ( 7 hours trekking, 17 km, 3 villages) (B, L, D)
Breakfast at Hotel then check out hotel room. Get the show on the road in the morning from the hotel by car to head for the valley where to visit 2 villages of the H'mong and the Dzay. Picnic lunch on the way or in a local family. Go on visiting the Red Dzao in Giang Ta Chai village, visiting a waterfall and a suspension bridge. Walk up to the road for the transfer back to Sapa. Transfer to Lao Cai railway station to catch the overnight train back to Hanoi. Dinner at restaurant.
Night 3:Overnight in the A/C soft sleeper wooden Cabin. ( 4 people/cabin or 2 people/cabin on request ).
Arrive in Hanoi around 5:00 AM next day. Tour ends.

if you don't want to carry it all during the trek. Have breakfast and relax.
9:00 AM Transfer from the Hotel then trekking to visit Lao Chai village. Enjoy the overall pictures of the villages among terraces. Visit the H'mong living in wooden and bamboo houses. Continue going to Ta
Van village to visit the Dzay minority. Stay the night in Ta Van village at a Dzay family. Picnic lunch on the way and dinner at the home-stay.
Night 2: Overnight at Homestay.
Day 2: Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai
Village - Sapa ( 5 hours trekking, 14 km, 2 villages ) (B, L, D)
Get up early in the morning to enjoy the daily life of the ethnic minorities in the village. Breakfast; take the road to Giang Ta Chai village of the Red Dzao minority via the paths between terraces and through bamboo forests. Visit silver waterfall and suspension Rattan Bridge, visit the people in the village and then cross Muong Hoa River up to the mountain to visit the last village of the trek - Supan village of the H'mong.
Transfer to Sapa town. On the way back, enjoy visiting the ancient stone circle where stones are decorated with ancient carvings. Check in hotel.
Night 3:
Overnight at Hotel in Sapa.
Day 3: Cat Cat Village - Sapa - Lao Cai - Hanoi (B, L,-)
Breakfast at Hotel, visit village of the black H'mong (Cat Cat), walk around visiting people in the village and the hydroelectric power station built by the French in the old days. Back to the town for lunch and check out hotel, free at leisure to explore the town until transfer to Lao Cai railway station to catch the overnight train back to Hanoi.
Dinner on guest account.

Start from Sapa at 10:00 AM by jeep/car and then get down to a valley, visit an H'mong village and the hydroelectric power station built by the French. Take a small path to go and visit other 2 villages of the H'mong and the Dzay people (Lao Chai and Ta Van village). Stay in Ta Van
Village at a Dzay family. Picnic lunch on the way and dinner at the family.
Night 2: Overnight at homestay.
Day 2: (Monday) TaVan Village - Giang Ta Chai Village - Sapa (5 hours trekking, 14 km, 2 villages

Breakfast at the home-stay, take the road to Giang Ta Chai village to see the Red Dzao people via the paths through terraces and bamboo forests. Visit a waterfall, a suspension bridge. Picnic lunch and cross the river. Visit an H'mong

Night 3: Overnight at hotel in Sapa town.
Day 3: (Tuesday) Sapa - Coc Ly Market - Boat Trip on Chay River - Lao Cai - Hanoi (B,L, D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Leave from Sapa early at 7:00 AM for Coc Ly market by car, which is situated 90km far from Sapa. Enjoy the peaceful life of different minority peoples ( Flower H'mong, Black Dzao, Tay, Dzay). The market is the chance for the minorities to meet and share joy and sorrows after the crops, to exchange one another's experience. Say goodbye to the market and get down onto a boat along Chay river. You are bound to feel great and find yourselves smaller among high Rock Mountains and to be surprised at white and breathtakingly waterfalls. Get off the boat to visit a village of the Tay Minority ( Trung Do village) by the river. After the boat trip, visit a small town - Bao Nhai and then take
transfer back to Lao Cai Station for the night train to Hanoi. Have dinner before getting on the night train.

Day 1: (Saturday) Arrive in Lao Cai - Can Cau market - Bac Ha (B, L, D)
6:00 AM - Arrive to Lao Cai train station. Welcome by your local guide and driver then transfer to Can Cau market. It takes more than 2 hours to get to Can Cau - a small market situated in a valley surrounded by mountains and only 7 km from China. The market deeply shows the typical cultural features of the minorities in remote mountainous areas in Vietnam. Further more, you can enjoy seeing boys and girls in colorful costumes - different colors of the mountains. They attend the market in the hope of finding "the other halves of their lifestyle" and this is also the time for them to chat, to exchange everything among different ethnic peoples through cups of wine sold in the market. Say goodbye to the market and transfer to Bac Ha. On the way, spend time visiting a village of the Flower H'mong and then check in hotel in Bac Ha. Free to explore the town. Lunch and Dinner at local restaurant.
Night 2:Overnight at hotel in Bac Ha - Sao Mai Hotel.
Day 2: (Sunday) Visit Bac Ha market - Sapa (B, L, D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Take a walk to Bac Ha market. Visit one village and an old building called The H'mong king's house.
The beginning of the day visit a big market filled with many different hill-tribe peoples. This is the most colorful market in North Vietnam. At the market, you have chance to enjoy Bac Ha people's simple but unique kinds of food with special wines made from rice, cassavas, corn and different sorts of fruits such as plumps, apples, peaches... talking to the minorities through the guide's interpretation. Leave the market for the H'mong King's house (King Hoang A Tuong) built by the French colonists and the Chinese in 1920. Return the town for lunch.
In the afternoon,spend time visiting another village (Ban Pho village) Say good bye to Bac Ha and get back to Sapa.
On the way back, drop in to see the Vietnamese and Chinese Harbour Mouth in Lao Cai. Reach Sapa late in the afternoon. Dinner at restaurant.
Night 3:Overnight at hotel in Sapa town.
Day 3: (Monday) Sapa - Lao Chai - Ta Van Village - Lao Cai - Hanoi (4 hours trekking, 14 km, 2 villages (B, L, D)
 Breakfast at the hotel and check out hotel room. Take a ride for the first part and go down hill to the valley. Cross Muong Hoa River to get to the other mountainside for 2 villages of the H'mong and the Dzay
at Lao Chai and Ta Van village. Picnic lunch on the way.
Get up to the road for transfer back to Sapa.
Transfer to Lao Cai railway station for overnight train back to Hanoi. Dinner at restaurant.

After lunch, a walk down to the South-West of Sapa (around 4km), pass through the market to the sealed pathways to Cat Cat village. This twisty beautiful vista road leads you to stairs where we descend to the centre of the Black H'mong’s village then keep going down to the Cat Cat waterfall. This is a chance to see the hydroelectric power station established by the French. We walk along by the river and follow the sealed road back up to your Hotel. Dinner at restaurant. In the evening, you’re free to do as you wish. You can explore the town of Sapa at night.
Night 2: Overnight at hotel in Sapa town
Day 2: Sapa - Lao Chai & Ta Van Villages (B, L, D)
Breakfast at Hotel. Start the trip at 09.00 AM from the Hotel by car to Lao Chai Village. Walk about 15km to visit 3 different villages belonging to the Black H'Mong, Dzay and Red Dao people.
