Transfer to railway station for a night train at 21:30 to Sapa. Overnight on train. Day 1: Sapa - Cat Cat (B) 7:30 arrive Lao Cai, take a local bus to Sapa. Free for visiting ethnic market, Sapa town. PM: Trekking to visit Cat cat village, H’mong people and Cat Cat waterfall lying in a small valley. Day 2: Lao Chai - Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai (B) All day trekking to visit some minority villages. Lao Chai - Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai. You will meet some different minority people H’mong, Zay, Red Dzao, you can see the different colorful dresses. 17:00 transfer back to Lao Cai train station for night train to Hanoi. Day 1: Lao Cai - Sapa - Giang Ta Chai Village Arrive at Lao Cai railway station at 6:30. After shower and a short break at hotel, you will then meet your guide, we leave Sapa Town by foot move toward the bottom of the Sapa valley. Isolated Houses and small villages of the H’mong tribe lie scattered between terraced rice fields, flooded in the spring for the sake of the young rice, dry in the Autumn and filled with yellow rice ready to harvested. PM: After lunch in a local house, we continue our way down through the valley to the Ta Van village, the only village is inhabited by the colorful Giay tribe. Walk around the village and talk to the people then keep your way and pass a bridge to Giang Ta Chai village, where the Red Dao people live, here the women are characteristically dressed with beautiful jewelers and a huge, red headgear. Dinner and stay overnight in one of the family in this village. Day 2: Giang Ta Chai - Ban Ho Village AM: wake up early by the morning sound of the village, then breakfast. We set out on a full day trek following a beautiful Muong Hoa stream to Seo Trung Ho, we walk around the village, meet the Red Dao people and we might look at traditional weaving of hemp clothe while lunch is being prepared in one of the private house. PM: go on trekking to Ban Ho village, which inhabited by Tay tribe with their houses on stilts. Dinner and sleep in a Tay family. Day 3: Ban Ho - Sin Chai Village AM: After breakfast, crossing the river by foot to reach to village of Thanh Phu, set beautifully among the surrounding mountains. A long, slow ascend brings you to other side of the mountain and the remote village of Sin Chai of the Dao people, we prepare for our lunch here. PM: After lunch we set out on a 2-hour walk to the Suoi Thau village, with beautiful views of the valley along the way. The entrance to the village is a remarkable thatched wood bridge, and there is time for a swim next to a small waterfall. We go back to Sin Chai village of the Red Dao people, where time seems to have stopped, and you get a good impression of how life is lived here. Among creaking rice-mills, free roaming pigs, chickens and water buffaloes. A glass of wine at the small balcony, overlooking the valley, rounds off the day while our guide prepares dinner in the family’s kitchen. We stay overnight here. Day 4: Sin Chai - Sapa - Lao Cai - Ha Noi AM: Wake up for your breakfast. We start a new day ahead, smiling or laughing as usual, while we stop on the way for tea in Thanh Phu village and maybe for a swim in a beautiful river before we reach Ban Ho of the Tay tribe. The guide has prepared lunch before we head up the escarpment towards Su Fan and the jeeps are waiting to Bring us back to Sapa Town. PM: free to do as you feel like to. You can visit the Sapa’s day market, go shopping or just relax. At 16:00, transfer by bus to Lao Cai railway station to catch the overnight train back to Ha Noi. Day 1: Lao Cai - Sapa - Lao Chai Village Arrive at Lao Cai railway station at 6:30am, meeting our waiting staff at the Lao Cai station, transfer by bus to hotel in Sapa, one and a haft hour drive on an exciting curving road, surrounded by steep mountains and terraced rice fields arriving at 8am. After breakfast, you are driven by jeep to the end of the dirt track, from where the only means of transport is by foot. We first enjoy the beautiful view of the valley below, then we cross a stream to the Lao Chai village, which is inhabited by the H’mong minority. The next destination of our trek is Ta Van village with its stilts houses. We will meet the colorful Giay tribe, take a walk around the village, meet and talk to the people, enjoy the friendly atmosphere with the children. We enjoy our lunch here in a local house. PM: After a rest in Ta Van village we start our 4 hours hard and adventurous trek up to the mountain ridge then through a bamboo forest. After descend we again move upwards to the remote village of Seo Mi Ti, inhabited by the Black H'mong minority, where pigs, chickens and ducks are scuffling around freely among the wooden houses and the children look curiously at these strange people. Our guide prepares your dinner, and we sleep in this village for your first night on the floor in a private house. Day 2: Lao Chai - Ta Trung Ho Village AM: Wake up by the morning sounds of nature, then have breakfast with the people from the family. We start an adventure day with a 16 km trek. First we slowly descend and pass a stream by foot, enjoy spectacular views towards Den Thang village, where you will know their interesting customs as well as their colorful attires. We prepare to have lunch here before we set out on another 4 hour trek to reach Ta Trung Ho village. The track to get there seems easier and scenery even more beautiful. We cross another river by foot before we arrive at the village. Here, we again meet the Red Dao tribe and local people welcome us for a good dinner and overnight at their home after a long day trek. Day 3: Ta Trung Ho - Thanh Phu Village AM: We are in Dao village, where the women are characteristically dressed with beautiful jewelers and a huge, red headgear. The day starts early with cockcrow, the content grunting of pigs, and the creaking of water mills grinding rice. In some places rice paper is produced on a suspended piece of cloth, and like this the village is self-sufficient with almost everything. From here we start another day trek at 8:00 am and head for Nam Sai village. The village is inhabited by Xa Pho minority. Lunch will be prepared in a local house. PM: again leave the village after a round walk. We continue our trek down, cross a river by foot and reach the village of Thanh Phu, set beautifully among the surrounding mountains. The time seems to have stopped and you get a good impression of how life is lived here, among creaking rice mills, roaming pigs and water buffaloes. Learn about their custom during your evening meal with a local family. Spend the night at a stilt house of the Tay people. Day 4: Thanh Phu - Sapa AM: After your breakfast here, we set out on a 4-hour walk to the village of Ban Ho, with beautiful views of the valley along the way. The entrance to the village is a remarkable thatched wood bridge and there is time for a swim next to a waterfall. Then relax beside a stream while your guide prepares your lunch at the kitchen of the private house. PM: After lunch we head up the escarpment towards Su Pan village, where the jeeps are waiting to take us back to Sapa Town. As you will see through the jeep’s window, the landscape is dominated by scenic mountaintops and rice terraces covering the slopes. We are back in Sapa in time for taking a hot shower and an everning’s nice meal. We stay Overnight at hotel. Day 5: Sapa - The whole day is free to do as you please. You can visit the Sapa day market, go shopping or just relax before having lunch at the hotel.
