VNST 02: VIETNAM COMPACT
Hanoi - Halong Bay - Hue - Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) - Cu Chi tunnels - Cao Dai temples
(7 days / 6 nights - daily departure)

Day 1: Arrival Hanoi (D)

On arrival at Hanoi Noi Bai International airport, you will be greeted by our guide and transferred to your hotel in town. Welcome dinner at a super restaurant in French Quarter of Hanoi. In the evening enjoy a traditional Vietnamese water puppet show.
Day 2: Hanoi City tour (B, L)
The colonial capital city Hanoi is a unique Asian city with tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and oriental pagodas and temples. This full day tour takes you around Hanoi's most interesting sights, including the Ho Chi Minh Complex: Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and his Stilts House, Presidential Palace and the One Pillar Pagoda nearby, and the Old Quarter also known as the 36 streets and guilds. Also on the tour - the Lake of the Restored Sword and Ngoc Son Temple, the Temple of Literature, peaceful West Lake with lovers street Thanh Nien, the sedate Tran Quoc Pagoda and Quan Thanh Temple and one of the city's museums, either the History Museum or the Ethnology Museum.
Day 3: Ha Noi - Ha Long Bay (B, L)
Meet you at hotel at 7:30am, we drive to Ha Long City , approximately 3 hours away. Once at Ha Long City you will board our private boat for a four-hour cruise of this stunning area, stopping along the way to visit one of the limestone caves in the area. As we cruise our boat staff will serve you a sumptuous local seafood lunch on boat. After 4 hour navigation we sail back to harbor and drive back to your hotel in Hanoi.
Day 4: Ha Noi - Hue (B, L) domestic flight
Transfer to airport and fly to the ancient Capital Hue. Meet and greet at Phu Bai airport and transfer to hotel in town. This afternoon we embark on a tour of Hue City including the Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City , the Tu Duc's Tomb and the Dong Ba market
Day 5: Hue - Ho Chi Minh (B, L) domestic flight
Fly to Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) with pick up and transfer. We embark on a Ho Chi Minh city tour including The Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office, Remnant War Museum, Giac Lam Pagoda, colorful China town with ancient pagodas, temples, and bustling Binh Tay Market.
Day 6: Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) - Cu Chi tunnels - Cao Dai Temples (B, L)
At 8:00 pick up at hotel, this morning we drive to Cao Dai Temples in Tay Ninh to observe the midday service. Following lunch we will drive to the Cu Chi Tunnels and then return to Saigon at around 18:00.
Day 7: Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) Departure (B)
Have breakfast at the hotel. Free time till transfer to the airport.
