VNST 07: UNIQUELY VIETNAM TOUR Hanoi - Halong Bay - Cat Ba Island - Hoi An - Hue - Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) - Cu Chi tunnels - Cao Dai temples

Day 1: Arrival Hanoi (D)
On arrival at Hanoi's Noi Bai International airport, you will be greeted by our driver and transferred to your hotel in town. Welcome dinner included.
Day 2: Hanoi City tour (B, L, D)
The colonial capital city Hanoi is a unique Asian city with tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and oriental pagodas and temples.
This full day tour takes you around Hanoi's most interesting sights, including the Ho Chi Minh Complex: Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and his Stilts House, Presidential Palace and the One Pillar Pagoda nearby, and the Old Quarter also known as the 36 streets and guilds.
Also on the tour - the Lake of the Restored Sword and Ngoc Son Temple, the Temple of Literature, peaceful West Lake with lovers street Thanh Nien, the sedate Tran Quoc Pagoda and Quan Thanh Temple and one of the city's museums, either the History Museum or the Ethnology Museum. In the evening enjoy a traditional Vietnamese water puppet show.
Day 3: Ha Noi - Ha Long - Cat Ba island (B, L)
At 8:30 pick up at your hotel we drive through the Red River Delta to Ha Long City. While on board we will have a sumptuous fresh, local seafood lunch followed by a swim (in the summer only) and the opportunity to explore the most beautiful limestone cave Sung Sot (Surprises Grottoes).
Our final destination of today is Cat Ba island. Check in hotel and dinner at local seaside restaurant (On Guest Account). Overnight at hotel in Cat Ba
 Day 4: Cat Ba island - Hai Phong City - Ha Noi (B, L)
Breakfast in hotel we have whole morning to hide in the Cat Ba National Park to explore the fauna and flora of the rainforest.
Afternoon we will be boarding a local ferry for our trip to the port city of Hai Phong. Here we transfer to our vehicle for a 2-hour journey back to Hanoi.
Day 5: Ha Noi - Hue (B, L) night train
Following breakfast is your free time in colonial Hanoi. This evening we board the train SE3 at 23:00 for an overnight train journey is the ancient imperial capital of Hue, approximately 10 hours away.
Day 6: Ancient Capital Hue City Tour (B, L, D)
Arrival in Hue this morning is scheduled for around 8:00 with a transfer directly to our hotel. This afternoon we embark on a tour of Hue City including the Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City, the Imperial Museum and the Dong Ba market. You should taste the finest cuisine of Hue on Dragon Boat and enjoy Hue Folk Song.
Day 7: Hue - Hoi An (B, L)
Rising up in the ancient land, breakfast in hotel, we board on a private boat for cruising romantic Perfume River. This time we head out for the countryside. Being the ancient capital, Hue is surrounded with ancient tombs of emperors past, and a visit to some of these tombs will be on the itinerary for today. The charming Lady Pagoda (Thien Mu Pagoda) will be the first stop of the day. Setting in the converge of rivers, and gives you a great view on the Perfume River and surrounding area. Thien Mu Pagoda which is considered the unofficial symbol of Hue, and Buddhism Centre in Centre Vietnam.
From here we will cruise further to the ornate Minh Mang's tomb. We will enjoy lunch on boat before getting out the Dragon boat.
Leave the world Heritage Hue to Hoi An, We will travel over the Hai Van pass, stop in Danang for a visit to Cham Museum and handicraft villages on the foot of Marble Mountain before arriving in Hoian. Once in Hoi An we will check into our hotel and have some free time to explore.
Day 8: Hoi An City Tour (B)
We enjoy a half day orientation tour of Hoi An including the Chinese Assembly Halls, the Japanese Covered Bridge, Phuc Kien Pagoda and Tan Ky House. Following the tour there will be free time to shopping or relaxing.
Day 9: Hoi An - Da Nang - Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) - (B, L) domestic flight
Leave Hoi An we make the 60 minute drive from Hoi An to Danang Airport. From Danang we take the one-hour flight to Ho Chi Minh City, where we transfer directly to our centrally located hotel.
We embark on a city tour of Saigon including The Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office, Remnant War Museum, Giac Lam Pagoda, China town with ancient pagodas and temples, and bustling Binh Tay Market.
Day 10: Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) - Mekong Delta (B, L)
At :00 we leave HCMC (Saigon) to lush My Tho where we boat on a private boat to through the green vegetation of the canals to an orchard, where we are treated to a delicious lunch in bonsai garden in the heart of Mekong, complete with tropical fruits. We also visit the snake farm Dong Tam that breeds snakes for, among other things, snake wine and enjoy a bonsai garden before heading back to Saigon.
Day 11: Cu Chi tunnels - Cao Dai Temples (B, L, D)
At 8:00 pick up at hotel, this morning we drive to Tay Ninh to observe the midday service. Following lunch we will drive to the Cu Chi Tunnels and then return to Saigon at around 18:00.
Dinner on Floating Restaurant.
Day 12: Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) Departure (B, L)
No activities are planned for today. You will be transferred to airport for you onward flight.
