I wouldn\'t say it\'s a 4 star hotel. More like three. Swimming pool inconveniently situated on the other side of the road from the hotel and is quite dirty. No sense of privacy in the swimming pool. No view of the beach considering it is placed on the beachfront. Worst thing was the noise coming from other rooms and corridors. Staff were not sympathetic to issues and offered no support. Was so looking forward to moving over to Imperial Hotel for the rest of our stay! .

I stayed at the Dicstar for two of the longest nights of my life.  Service was lousy, staff surly, food awful.  In short...a one star hotel trying to be a four star.  Never again.  A real dump.

Simply Outstanding Service from all staff. Excellent Value! Party arrangements were superb without a single need that was not fully prepared for. The food always excellent and wait staff willingly, and gladly rendering service that is designed to exceed your highest expectations!
If you are staying in Vung Tau... choose no other place for short or extended stays. I call it my 2nd home when visiting Vung Tau.
