The myth of Calypso has been inspirited into the Calypso Cruiser. “Glamour” and “Grandeur” are best to characterize Calypso. The cruiser features 12 luxury cabins, all finely equipped, and exposed to the widest view of the Bay; a restaurant features a feast for the senses; and a panoramic sundeck allowing different activities with the beauty of Halong Bay as backdrop.

12 Cabins: Sized from 12.5sqm, all Calypso cabins are selectively equipped to confine fine bedding, and are well recognized with expansive windows to be exposed to the widest views of the bay. Acknowledging the views are constantly changing, the bathroom is also widely exposed to the views to ensure every moment of yours counts.
Charter (Private Boat): private boat for your group and you can use maximum 12 cabins for 24 passengers.

Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi – Halong Bay (Lunch, Dinner)08h00 – 08h30: Pick-up at hotel and start the 3 hour-and-a-half drive to Hong Gai Tourist Wharf, check in Oriental Sails JSC’s private waiting hall – The OS Lounge.
12h00 – 12h30: Embark on Calypso Cruiser followed by cruise briefing.
13h00 – 15h30: Savor a delectable lunch as Calypso Cruise cruises further along the limestone islands of Bai Tu Long Bay and pass by Oan Islet (where a sense of the film L’Indochina was shot by Paradis Film with the famous French actress Catherine Deneuve played since 1992), Teapot Islet, Monster Face Islet, Torch Islet, Dragon Islet, Porcupines Islet and then anchor at Titop Beach area.
15h30 – 16h30: Visit Titop Island to enjoy the panoramic view of Halong Bay or just relaxing and swimming at Titop Beach.
16h30 – 17h30: Get your hands on some kayaking to visit Luon Cave, a tunnel to a little bay surrounded by a mountain range.
18h00 – 22h00: Enjoy happy hour on the Sundeck with various drinks on discount, snap photos of the overview of Halong Bay as the sun starts to set. For those who are fancy some experience in cooking Vietnamese dishes can join our brief Vietnamese cooking course.
Dinner is served.
Socialize with other guests or just laze around. Evening activities such as: night squid fishing, karaoke, dancing are available till 22h00. Second happy hour is from 21h00 to late night. Overnight on boat in a tranquil area.
Day 2: Ha Long Bay – Lan Ha Bay (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
06h00 – 07h00: Start your day with Tai Chi on sundeck.
07h00 – 08h00: Have breakfast at sunrise.
08h30 – 09h00: Transfer to day boat for a cruise to Lan Ha Bay.
Option 1 (Main option): Relaxing & Kayaking
09h00 – 16h30 Have the whole day relaxing and kayaking around Lan Ha Bay – the less touristic area of Halong. Discover Dark and Light Caves on kayaks, swim and relax on natural beaches. Drop by Halong Pearl Farm on the way back to the Oriental Sails.
Option 2: Kayaking & Rock Climbing with Western instructors (Minimum for 2 pax, booked and paid in advance, compulsory surcharge is applied)
10h15 – 12h30 Kayaking in Moody’s Beach area.
13h00 – 14h00 Lunch and transfer to Thap Ngiem (Hai Pai Beach.)
14h15 – 16h30 Rock Climbing on Hai Pai Beach (optional: kayaking).
18h00 – 22h00 Contemplate romantic sunset. Enjoy dinner, partying, fishing or just lazing. O/n on boat.
Day 3: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi (Breakfast, Lunch)
06h00 – 07h00 Start your day with morning Tai Chi, exercise or photo hunt, enjoy the fresh air with a cup of tea or coffee…
07h00 – 08h00 Have breakfast at sunrise.
08h00 – 09h15 Join a guided visit to Sung Sot Cave, also called Amazing Cave – the most beautiful and the largest cave in Ha Long Bay.
9h30 – 10h00 Check out room. Continue cruising to enjoy the magnificent nature of the world wonder.
10h30 Have lunch while cruising to Bai Tho Mountain next to the harbor.
11h30 Disembark Calypso Cruiser.
12h00 – 16h30 Transfer back to Hanoi. Trip finishes at the hotel around 16h30

Good to Know:
- Cruise itinerary and schedule are subject to change due to weather, tide levels and operating conditions.
- Special requests on food (diet or vegetarian) please inform us before departure.
- Peak season surcharge of US$ 30/adult and US$25/child 6-11 y.o will be applied for cruises on 24/12, New Year’s Eve 31/12
- Optional Private Boat can be provided upon your request.
- A valid passport is required upon check-in on board. Children whose traveling documents are attached to parent’s passport must travel with the parent.
- If one person prefers to stay in a private cabin, the single supplement must be paid.
Children Policy:
Free of charge for children under 6 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin, bed and food with 2 (two) adults. Children will have separate meal if paying for 50% of adult's rate.
Children 6-11 years old and maximum 1 child per cabin staying together with 02 adults will have to pay following children's price.
Cancellation Policy: For 1-5 cabins
- > 05 days before departure date: No cancellation charge.
- Less than 05 days – No Show: Full charge.

Good: "Our second cruise and without doubt the best. The Calypso is a great little ship, the crew and entertainment staff are fabulous. The food was good. Our cabin was a reasonable size, clean and well serviced. Being on a small ship you soon get to know the staff and other passengers. We cruised the Greek Islands for 2 weeks and saw many larger cruise ships, some too big for me. My wife and I, and other passengers we spoke to all agreed that we would rather be on Calypso than any big cruise ship. "

Good: "We saw many boats on Yalong bay and didn\'t know what to expect for this cruise but as we were approaching our boat, we thought \'WOW, this cruise is one of the nicer ones here.\' The cruise program did a very great job by providing awesome service from the very beginning of the cruise. We were picked up at our hotel to be transfered to HalongBay which took three hours from Hanoi. Our guide was lovely and spoke very good english clearly explained to us our itinerary for the next day. The room on the cruise was nice and clean. What I loved the most about this cruise were the food and the service. The food was always beautifully presented and I was caught by surprise each meal. The servers were all very friendly and helpful also very efficient. By the way, drinks are not included in the package normally so you spend extra money paying for your drinks which is slightly more expensive than the city but reasonable for a cruise. We also went kayaking in the morning which was part of our activity in the morning. "
