Luxury cruises don't have to cost an arm and a leg. At Marguerite, the way luxury defined is upon your satisfaction with the entire journey with us. Launched in April 2009, Marguerite 1 is now widely known as one of the best choices for deluxe junk boats on Halong Bay. And Marguerite 2, another traditional junk launched in Feb 2011, is in the operation. In traditional style decoration, Marguerite Junk is entirely built of wood in a hull of Xyliaxyocarpa and Fokiania hodginsii for quality ships. All the cabins are spacious with view to the Halong Bay, a cozy restaurant and open sundeck.

Deluxe: 12 cabins with sized in 18sqm (Double and Twin room), each cabin has a large window providing for the most beautiful views and is fully furnished with variety of amenities.

Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi - Ha Long Bay (Lunch, Dinner)
08:00 – 08:30 Pick up at hotel for three and a half hours road trip with short refreshment
12:00 Arrive at Bai Chay Wharf
12:15 Transfer by tender to the Marguerite Junk boat – enjoy Welcome Drink. Receive Junk Facilities and Cruise Instruction as well as Cruise Briefing before check in to cabins and begin cruise Off the Beaten Track.
13:00 Lunch - deluxe Vietnamese Set Menu.
15:00 Arrive at the Surprise Cave area. Transfer by tender to the Surprise Cave. Walk up the 100 steps to the entrance of the cave and tour on foot for approximately 45 minutes.
16:00 Return to the boat. Enjoy kayaking program to the nearby Cave, lagoon and surrounding waters as well as exploring the daily life of the local people in floating village
17:00 Enjoy snack party before swimming or relaxing on board
18:30 Take part in our cooking class with crispy spring rolls
19:30 Dinner - deluxe Vietnamese Set Menu Dinner.
20:30 Evening activities include: film entertainment in the dining room, board games and playing cards are available, squid fishing from the boat with our crew.
23:00 End of program for Day One
Day 2: Discover Ha Long Bay (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
07:00 Coffee, tea and light breakfast pastries served in the dining room.
08:15 Transfer to the Day Cruise Boat and begin to cruise to some of Halong Bay’s most secluded and untouched area.
09:00 Enjoy kayaking to explore the Dark Cave and Bright Cave.
11:00 Return to the boat and relaxing, sun bathing on sundeck.
12:00 A multi-course lunch will be served mid-day with seafood and grills.
13:00 Cruise further to the Ba Trai Dao area
14:00 Swimming or sunbathing on the small ambiance beaches in Ba Trai Dao area.
15:30 Explore the largest Van Gia fishing village in Halong Bay by Kayak. You will have chance to interact with local fishers.
17:00 Return to Marguerite Junk boat. Refreshing, Relax and enjoy the rest of the day on board as day one.
Day 3: Ha Long Bay - Hanoi (Breakfast, Lunch)
07:00 Coffee, tea and light breakfast pastries served in the dining room.
08:00 Enjoy riding on the rowing boat to the tunnel cave
09:00 Check-out of cabins. Enjoy relaxing, sunbathing on sundeck while our boat cruise back on different route.
10:45 Enjoy lunch Set Menu served in the dining room while enjoy the bay scenery as we approach the pier (passing Fight Cocks, Incense Burner, Stone Dog).
12:00 Transfer by tender to the pier, relax inside the pier building while waiting for return transportation.
12:20 Transfer back to Hanoi. You will arrive in Hanoi approximately at 16:30

Good to Know:
- Cruise itinerary and schedule are subject to change due to weather, tide levels and operating conditions.
- Peak season surcharge US$ 15/adult, US$ 8/child will be applied for cruises on 24/12, New Year’s Eve 31/12 and Tet Holidays
- Special requests on food (diet or vegetarian) please inform us before departure.
- Optional Private Boat can be provided upon your request.
- A valid passport is required upon check-in on board. Children whose traveling documents are attached to parent’s passport must travel with the parent.
- If one person prefers to stay in a private cabin, the single supplement must be paid.
Children Policy:
- Free of charge for children under 5 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin with 2 (two) adults.
- Baby cot is available for kids under 2-year-old.
- Children up 4 years old pay as as adults for charter.
Cancellation Policy:
- 05 days before departure date: No cancellation charge.
- From 2 to 5 days: 50% of total tour price
- Less than 48 hours – No Show: Full charge.

Good: "Very good trip, with nice guide and the boat was also great, with wooden cabins and air cond.
Boats actually are painted with white colour instead of being of wood. We were told that this was because of gobernment recommendations."
Bad: " Kayaking was also great, but the water in Halong bay was not as clear as we expected."
Good: "Rooms were clean and spacious, i had really nice hot shower, but some did not. food was good and plentiful, loved that we got to help out make spring rolls on last day guide was great fun, kayaking excellent, and bar fully stocked- karaoke went very well! sun deck was huge and sunbeds new and comfortable- only missed the old red junk sails being let out"
