Good: "We were on the one night/two day Red Dragon II Junk early February, and we found this to be the highlight of our trip to Vietnam. As others have mentioned, this was not inexpensive, but it was worth every penny. There were 6 crew and 6 guests. We were lucky to have interesting companions, as there was quite a bit of down time. Ein, our guide, was excellent and spoke English very well. The other crew members did not, but Ein translated for them. Weather was misty, but not too cold (15 degrees). We took along a fleece and light jacket, and that sufficed. You need water sandals for the kayaking, and I only got slightly wet from the paddle. The four meals were excellent, and water was provided free. The triple room was well worth the extra cost--very large room with nice bathroom and shower. Boat ride was very smooth, and the visit to the cave and fishing village was very interesting. Loved kayaking around limestone formations. Visited school (nice to bring pens and pencils for children). 3 1/2 hour ride to and from Hanoi was long and bumpy, but was interesting observing scenery along the way. Try not to sit in last row of van. Indochina company was very well organized and was prompt in answering all of my emails. -had absolutely no problems"

Bad: " Nothing"
