Launched in April 2009, Marguerite 1 is now widely known as one of the best choices for deluxe junk boats on Halong Bay. And Marguerite 2, another traditional junk launched in Feb 2011, is in the operation. In traditional style decoration, Marguerite Junk is entirely built of wood in a hull of Xyliaxyocarpa and Fokiania hodginsii for quality ships. All the cabins are spacious with view to the Halong Bay, a cozy restaurant and open sundeck.

Deluxe: 12 cabins with sized in 18sqm (Double and Twin room), each cabin has a large window providing for the most beautiful views and is fully furnished with variety of amenities.

Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi - Ha Long Bay (Lunch, Dinner)
08:00 – 08:30 Pick up at hotel for three and a half hours road trip with short refreshment
12:00 Arrive at Bai Chay Wharf
12:15 Transfer by tender to the Marguerite Junk boat – enjoy Welcome Drink. Receive Junk Facilities and Cruise Instruction as well as Cruise Briefing before check in to cabins and begin cruise Off the Beaten Track.
13:00 Lunch - deluxe Vietnamese Set Menu.
15:00 Arrive at the Surprise Cave area. Transfer by tender to the Surprise Cave. Walk up the 100 steps to the entrance of the cave and tour on foot for approximately 45 minutes.
16:00 Return to the boat. Enjoy kayaking program to the nearby Cave, lagoon and surrounding waters as well as exploring the daily life of the local people in floating village
17:00 Enjoy snack party before swimming or relaxing on board
18:30 Take part in our cooking class with crispy spring rolls
19:30 Dinner - deluxe Vietnamese Set Menu Dinner.
20:30 Evening activities include: film entertainment in the dining room, board games and playing cards are available, squid fishing from the boat with our crew.
23:00 End of program for Day One
Day 2: Ha Long Bay - Hanoi (Breakfast, Lunch)
07:00 Coffee, tea and light breakfast pastries served in the dining room.
08:00 Enjoy riding on the rowing boat to the tunnel cave
09:00 Check-out of cabins. Enjoy relaxing, sunbathing on sundeck while our boat cruise back on different route
10:45 Enjoy lunch Set Menu served in the dining room while enjoy the bay scenery as we approach the pier (passing Fight Cocks, Incense Burner, Stone Dog)
12:00 Transfer by tender to the pier, relax inside the pier building while waiting for return transportation.
12:20 Transfer back to Hanoi. You will arrive in Hanoi approximately at 16:30

Good to Know:
- Cruise itinerary and schedule are subject to change due to weather, tide levels and operating conditions.
- Peak season surcharge US$ 15/adult, US$ 8/child will be applied for cruises on 24/12, New Year’s Eve 31/12 and Tet Holidays
- Special requests on food (diet or vegetarian) please inform us before departure.
- Optional Private Boat can be provided upon your request.
- A valid passport is required upon check-in on board. Children whose traveling documents are attached to parent’s passport must travel with the parent.
- If one person prefers to stay in a private cabin, the single supplement must be paid.
Children Policy:
- Free of charge for children under 5 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin with 2 (two) adults.
- Baby cot is available for kids under 2-year-old.
- Children up 4 years old pay as as adults for charter.
Cancellation Policy:
- 05 days before departure date: No cancellation charge.
- From 2 to 5 days: 50% of total tour price
- Less than 48 hours – No Show: Full charge.

Good: "We have just returned from a 2D 1N cruise on the Marguerite Junk and it was very good.
Our guide from Hanoi 'Tien', was great and all staff were very accommodating and friendly.
The rooms were clean and comfortable, the food was great and plentiful and consisted of good choices.
Our activities - exploring a cave (quite busy and touristy), kayaking nearby the floating villages (fantastic), swimming (jumping off the boat to my kids delight!), squid fishing (not successful but interesting), and a cooking class (a bit of fun) were enjoyed by all on board."
