The Royal Kimdo has a great location! It is a short walk to all of the main sites and many good restaurants. We stayed there for a teachers conference which was held in the Sheraton which was just across the street. The room was very large, with antique furniture and a king size bed (from pushing two twins together). The bed was quite hard, but bearable. The buffet was average. The staff was helpful and efficient. It is not luxurious by any means, but clean and functional. Overall it was a good value for the location. I would recommend it for a traveler on a budget.

Because we had medical problems and had a change of plans, we actually stayed at the Kimdo on 2 separate occasions and always enjoyed it. The location is a 10! Would stay there again. I crave the home-made yogurt at the bkfst buffet!!!!! WOW!!!!!

Excellent location in downtown HCMC. Deluxe rooms from 6th floor upwards have a view. ABF was superb and F&B staff was very forthcoming for special requests. Reception staff utmost kind and they speak English well. Hotel organized a memorable New Year's Eve party for guests with free-of-charge buffet and entertainment program.
